My Tornado Diary Ch2, May 7

 May 7

Today, I went to Home Depot to pick up the things that people had bought for me. They had everything ready for me on a cart. At the time, I thought that was really nice of them. One of the things that was purchased by a friend’s dad was something I did not think to ask for on my own…an American Flag. Which I proudly hung on the root ball that flipped my car, and did my best to shine some of the solar lights on it. Me and Richie had some discussion over whether or not I hung it backwards, but I still think I was right because the stars always go at the top if it’s hung on an incline.

Some guys in film school were making a movie to enter into a contest, and they asked if they could do an interview. I agreed, and they showed up. Their film was actually pretty cool, but it did not win. They had a fancy camera. I sure do wish I had a copy. If I did, I would post it here. Also, a hummer patrol equipped with IR stopped by to have a nice chat for awhile.

And the solar lights kept shining on after dark.
